Tarpons now 3-0 after stiffling the Pirates, 37-6 this past Friday night. First quarter was plagued with penalties and turnovers. In the 2nd quarter RB, Travis Camacho steps in for the injured Orduna and scores twice to put the Tarpons up 19-0 before the half. The Pirates come out at halftime and score on their opening drive, but PI answers back with a 41yd TD run by Omar Morales. The ballhawk secondary was able to snag three interceptions on the night including Jeremy Martinez's 4th INT of the season. Camacho has a 25yd TD run at the end of the 3rd quarter to put the Tarpons up 34-6. After a fumble recovery by John Ray Martinez, PI makes a field goal for the final score 37-6. Tarpons travel to La Feria next week.

The Tarpons fell to the Mercedes Tigers this past Friday 28-14 in live action. In the controlled portion the Tigers also lead 4-2 in scoring. Next up is the regular season kickoff game 1 vs Brownsvill Lopez Lobos @ Brownsville.

The 2016 Tarpons kickoff the football season with a good performance vs Donna North this past Friday. In the controlled portion PI came up ahead 3-2 in scoring. In the one 15min. quarter, the game finished in a tie, 7-7 with the Chiefs scoring with seconds left in the quarter.
