Port Isabel Tarpons football season has come to an end as the Sweeny Bulldogs beat the Tarpons 36-21. It was a good back and forth game in the first half as the Tarpons went into halftime with the 21-15 lead. Runningback Omar Silva hurt his shoulder in the 2nd quarter and the offense couldn't produce another score in the second half. It was an exciting season to watch and a pleasure to watch Omar Silva break the 2,000 yard milestone. On a side note, this is the 3rd straight loss in the opening round of the playoffs.
